A. The role of the Birkbeck Graduate Research School

The Birkbeck Graduate Research School (BGRS) incorporates the academic staff, research staff and research students of the College.

The aim of the BGRS is to enhance the experience of postgraduate research students of the College. The BGRS works with Schools with a view to:

i) Enhancing the research student's experience by creating an environment in which research and their supervisors are valued;

ii) Promoting good practice in supervision across the College;

iii) Providing training for both supervisors and students in collaboration with schools;

iv) Maintaining links with the Bloomsbury College PG Skills Network;

v) Facilitating international links and working with the International Office to meet the specific needs of international research students.
