Plagiarism
At Birkbeck, we take plagiarism very seriously, and you should be very careful to avoid it.
If you're not sure what constitutes plagiarism, or you're worried that you might accidentally plagiarise somebody's work, you should:
What happens if plagiarism is suspected?
Where an examiner (of examinations and other written coursework) suspects plagiarism, s/he has a responsibility to report this to the College. Where there is evidence of plagiarism, we will invoke the college Policy on assessment offences.
