Daniele graduated in Economics at the University of Rome 'La Sapienza' and took his DPhil at the SPRU, University of Sussex.

Employment history

Daniele has worked and taught at the Universities of Sussex, Naples, Cambridge, and Rome LUISS. He also held courses at the Ritsumeikan University, Kyoto and at the SWEFE University, Chengdu.

  • June 2006: Honorary Professor at the University of Sussex.
  • 2004-2005: Lauro de Bosis Visiting Professor at Harvard University, affiliated at the Department of Government and at the Minda de Gunzeberg Center for European Studies.
  • 2003-2004: Leverhulme Visiting Professor at the London School of Economics and Political Science, affiliated to the Department of Government and at the Centre for the Study of Global Governance.
