Our research
A commitment to pursuing innovative and effective research is at the heart of our activities in the School, informing both the postgraduate programmes of study that we offer and our interactions with business, public and third sector organizations. Research collaborators from outside the academic community receive advice and interventions from individuals drawing on the latest thinking in the relevant fields of study.
Our long established research groups form the ‘hub’ of our research activities. Comprising a loose confederation of academic staff, researchers and PhD students interested in related topics, our research groups provide a fertile source of new ideas, new collaborations and research projects, many of which then go on to be developed into more specific research centres, networks and funded projects. Currently, we have the following research groups:
- Governance, Innovation and Public Policy (GIP)
- Strategy and International Business (SIB)
In addition, specialist research centres provide a focus for interdisciplinary expertise from across the College on specific areas of knowledge development important to the academic, business, public and third sector communities.
We welcome enquiries from individuals and organizations interested in learning more about our research endeavours.
