Prestigious CFA Institute’s Recognition For Accounting And Finance Programmes
The Accounting and Finance group of the Department of Management, Birkbeck University of London, has been welcomed into the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Institute’s University Recognition Programme.
This follows the acknowledgement of the Department’s MSc Investment Management and MSc Accounting and Financial Management programmes as integrating at least 70% of the CFA Programme Candidate Body of Knowledge (CBOK). These programmes help students to gain a “Chartered Financial Analyst” title, which is the most respected investment professional qualification worldwide.
Membership of the CFA Institute University Recognition Programme signals to students and employers that our Finance and Investment Management curriculum at Birkbeck aligns fully with best professional standards. Participation in this recognition programme will avail students of the above-mentioned MSc programmes of 3 recognition-based scholarships per fiscal year, which will reduce the costs of enrolling to the CFA programme.
