Penelope visited Universität Bern to teach at the Summer School and present a paper.
Professor Penelope Gardner-Chloros spent a week teaching at Bern University's Summer School. PhD students at Bern enjoyed a week of teaching on the theme of 'Language and Migration'.
Penelope rounded off her trip to Bern by giving a lecture on her paper 'Multilingualism in the Refugee Social Media', which she co-authored with Dr Lisa McEntee-Atalianis and PhD student Mohammed Ateek.
