Problems resulting from electrical disruption

Following the electrical disruption affecting the Main Building on Thursday 30th, the following services have been affected:

  • The closure of the 7th floor meant that there was no network service to 7th, 6th, part of 5th floor, and wireless network on those floors.
  • Lack of power to room 402 affects some of central administration (on the ground and third floors) as well as some teaching rooms on the 4th and 3rd floors, wireless again, and the PCs in that workstation room.
  • Room 536 was also without power, affecting the PCs in the room..

7th floor power was restored at 8am on 31st October. Service to room 536 has also been restored.

Room 402 and associated areas remain affected.
