ITS Workshops (courses and training sessions)

Short workshops and practical courses are provided each term, held in the ITS workstation rooms. Most sessions take the form of hands-on self paced workshops. You will have the opportunity to work through the training material at your own pace, with instructors on hand to help you if you encounter a problem. See Workshop Timetable for latest details. In addition to the publicised workshops we provide a number of sessions on request from Schools. If you are a student please check with your tutors to see if anything has been arranged.

Courses are open to all Birkbeck Staff and undergraduate and postgraduate students. If in doubt about your eligibility to attend please contact the ITS Helpdesk.

Please note that courses are not available to ex-students, or members of student's families.

We can also provide workshops to support School teaching or provide small group training to staff. Please contact Nigel Buckle, User Support Manager, to discuss your requirements.

All courses may be booked at the ITS Helpdesk or online. All are free but you will not be allowed to book workshops if you have failed to attend one for which you previously booked until you let us know why you were unable to attend.
