Based in the heart of historic Bloomsbury, our department has an international reputation in Art History (Medieval, Renaissance and Modern art history, history and theory of Photography and Contemporary Art) and Film & ScreenMedia (Early Cinema, Film History, Television Studies, Contemporary Cinema and Media). We also offer history of Architecture, World Arts & Artefacts and Museum Cultures. You are welcome at many of our symposia and screenings as well as the open days. Some places are available for our BA History of Art. A respected academic qualification in many areas of employment and further study. A variety of qulaifications or experience are relevant to gaining a place. Staff can be consulted throughout August and September. Financial assistance is possible.
