Critical thinking is the cornerstone of studying at university. It is an academic skill that encompasses other academic skills (such as reading, note-making and writing for academic purposes), and plays a key part in achieving higher grades. This workshop will consider what is meant by critical thinking, and what is expected of you as a critical thinker. You will also encounter the key questions with which to approach critical reading and writing in the initial stages of your studies.
