To celebrate this years’ Fairtrade Fortnight, Catering Services, Birkbeck SU, and the Sustainability team, are delivering a host of activities to raise awareness of Fairtrade's global mission to support the people who grow our food and make our clothes in some of the poorest countries.
The fortnight runs from 25th February – 10th March, with events ranging from a Birkbeck ‘Bake Off’, to Fairtrade pancake making, and pop-up stalls on how you can reduce food waste. There will also be discounts across our Fairtrade range, and a competition running all fortnight for people to ‘Guess the number of coffee beans in the jar’ for the chance to win a Fairtrade good bag.
