STELLA is a work-in-progress future playback performance from Dickie Beau, activated by the Stella Adler collection held by the Ransom Center, at the University of Texas in Austin. In trying to filter some of the thousands of hours of recordings in the Stella Adler archive, and attempt to marshal them towards a show, Dickie Beau will host this “symposium” as a pause in the process of developing that piece, to openly reflect on - and share - some of the material and themes that the project seems to be honing in on…
