The COVID-19 crisis has renewed interest in the 1918/19 ‘Spanish’ influenza pandemic, one of the worst worldwide demographic disasters of the twentieth century.
Join us on Friday the 15th of January, from 15:30 until 16:30 (London time), for a lecture that gives an overview of the origins and the course of the world’s last major pandemic.
The talk will be given by Dr Eckard Michels from Birkbeck’s School of Arts.
