Find out more about our Law LLM Qualifying Law Degree at our Virtual Open Evening at Birkbeck on 12th January 2021.
At the event you'll find out more about our exciting QLD course, which we've designed to give you the key skills and knowledge to move towards a variety of career options into the legal sector, including to become a lawyer.
Our academic team, who will be teaching you at Birkbeck, will give you an insight into how your daytime freedom and our evening teaching enables you to make yourself more employable and change your career path. They'll also cover how the course is taught, the structure and content of the degree, as well as the entry requirements.
This is part of a larger event which will cover the courses listed below, as the Law LLB and Law LLM QLD have the same content. The difference is that the Law LLM QLD is a postgraduate degree, with higher entry requirements. The Law LLM QLD is taught at levels 6/7, whereas the Law LLB is taught at levels 4/5/6. The LLM can be completed in two years full-time, compared to 3 years full-time for the LLB. The majority of credits are based on the seven foundations of legal knowledge.
