EARTH AND PLANETARY SCIENCES VIRTUAL OPEN EVENING

The Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences at Birkbeck is holding a Virtual Open Evening event on Wednesday 29 November at 6.30pm. This is a unique opportunity to see inside our labs and hear about our facilities and courses from experts in the department, all from the comfort of your own home.

WHAT IS THE VIRTUAL OPEN EVENING?

We will start with a virtual tour of our cutting edge teaching facilities, followed by a presentation about our courses, covering:

  • the structure of our degree and certificate programmes
  • field classes
  • assessment within the modules
  • pastoral care
  • how the timetable works
At the end of the session, you will have the chance to ask questions using our instant message facility, or possibly your in-built computer microphone.
