Dr Mark Blacklock is the course convenor of the MA in Cultural and Critical Studies and teaches part of the first core course on 'New Directions in Cultural Theory.' Please see our students giving their account of the course in the video below.

I offer an MA option module titled 'Thinking Time: Reading Time', which takes an interdisciplinary approach to reading time in twentieth and twenty-first century cultural texts. drawing on theoretical resources from literary criticism, philosophy, political and scientific thought.

I lecture and teach across various modules on the BA programme in English Literature (occasionally moonlighting on Creative Writing) and co-convene three modules:
