CONGRATULATIONS TO DR BEV HAYWARD!!
Bev Hayward successfully achieved her doctorate on Thursday with NO CORRECTIONS! Her supervisors, Liz Hoult and Kerry Harman, are delighted. The examiners - Professors Linden West and Darlene Clover conducted a very robust and detailed viva and Bev defended her thesis brilliantly. The thesis title is:
Positionings, Policies and Practices in the UK's current higher education sector in the context of neo-liberalism: an exploration of the subject positions of female learning support assistants, as they practise their art and craft in the everyday.
Bev was registered with ALC and has been a contributing lecturer to the MSc Education, Power and Social Change. The contribution of Silvia Posocco at upgrade stage was invaluable.
