If you plan to research and develop new products or services, or if you are a student looking to work with business, you may be eligible for financial support. (Students should also check our student financial support pages for further information.)
We can help you apply for the following funding sources:
- Knowledge Transfer Partnerships: this part-funded government scheme encourages partnerships between university academics and industry.
- CASE (Collaborative Awards in Science and Engineering) studentships are designed to provide students with high-quality research training in collaboration with an industrial partner.
- Collaborative doctoral awards: funded by the AHRC, these provide financial support for your firm to employ a PhD student to undertake a research project of your choosing.
- Unionlearn discount: If you are a member of a union that is recognised by the TUC, you may be able to claim 10% off all accredited Birkbeck courses.
