Visiting Research Fellows

The Birkbeck Institute for Social Research welcomes enquiries from established academics from outside the UK who wish to spend time in the Institute as Visiting Research Fellows. They should be carrying out research within the broad field of social research, as defined by the Institute, and applicants should set out how their research touches upon the research themes, and/ or interests of members, of the Institute. The Research Fellows will be invited to join in the activities of the Institute, and to give a seminar on their research during their stay at Birkbeck. The Institute offers office space, email and internet access, and library privileges to its Visiting Research Fellows, but applicants should have their own funds for travel to the UK and for subsistence whilst at Birkbeck.

Please contact Julia Eisner j.eisner@bbk.ac.uk, in the first instance, with a short outline of the research that you propose to undertake and a C.V.
