Departmental rooms and locations
Glaxo-Wellcome Seminar room (B62/3)
- The Glaxo-Wellcome Seminar room is located in the basement of the Birkbeck extension building, Malet Street.
- Enter via the Birkbeck main entrance on Torrington Square.
- Walk straight ahead to reach the main corridor, then turn right.
- Access to the Glaxo-Wellcome Seminar room is via a green door at the end of the main corridor.
- Please note: this section of the department can only be accessed using a valid Birkbeck ID card.
- On arrival, visitors should use the telephone on the side of the door to request access. The relevant numbers to call are displayed on the door.
Room G54, main Birkbeck building, Malet Street (Extension building)
- Enter via the Birkbeck main entrance on Torrington Square.
- Walk straight ahead to reach the main corridor, then turn right.
- The entrance to G54 is via a green door at the end of the main corridor.
- Please note: this section of the department can only be accessed using a valid Birkbeck ID card.
- On arrival, visitors should use the telephone on the side of the door to request access. The relevant numbers to call are displayed on the door.
Room 606, main Birkbeck building, Malet Street
- Enter via the Birkbeck main entrance on Torrington Square.
- Take the main lift or main stairs to level 6 and follow the signs to room 606
Room 324, main Birkbeck building, Malet Street, (Extension building)
- Enter via the Birkbeck main entrance on Torrington Square.
- Walk straight ahead to reach the main corridor, then turn right.
- Room 324 is on the 3rd floor of the extension building.
- Please note this office is open for business after 2.30pm each weekday.
