Julia Eisner
Julia Eisner is the Manager of the Birkbeck Institute for the Humanities and the coordinator of the Birkbeck Institute, which also incorporates the Birkbeck Institute for Social Research.
Julia studied Music at the University of Sussex after which she trained in radio journalism and worked as a reporter and producer for BBC Radio for 20 years until coming to Birkbeck where she studied for an undergraduate degree and then a Masters degree in Law. She has been at Birkbeck for over ten years during which time she worked as a research assistant on a European Law Project. When that came to an end, she took up her current position running both the Birkbeck Institute for the Humanities and the Institute for Social Research.
