Work placements

Birkbeck MA Museum Cultures and MA History of Art offers students the opportunity to to gain valuable practical experience of working in museums, galleries and archives. Every year we organize a series of placements in both national and in small, specialist museums. The placements are for two to three days a week over three months and students are supported by a named member of staff in the institution and by their tutor at Birkbeck.
