Lord Marshall Memorial
The Lord Marshall Memorial commemorates international businessman and former Chair of Governors at Birkbeck, Lord Colin Marsh Marshall. Among his business achievements, Lord Marshall led British Airways from 1983 – 2004, first as Chief Executive and later as Chairman. He was also President of the CBI from 1996 – 1998.
Each year, Birkbeck's Department of Management invites a distinguished businessperson to discuss the challenges and opportunities of managing international businesses.
