Future Focus

Birkbeck’s Widening Access and Careers and Employability teams have partnered up to deliver Future Focus, which is a workshop to support mature learners by providing information, advice and guidance on career prospects, decision making and choosing a course that optimises your skillsets. 

We appreciate that it can be difficult to know where to ask for assistance if you are a mature learner who is returning to education, either with a career outcome in mind or with a general desire to change career. Future Focus will give you a broad overview of different subjects and courses, the career benefits of higher education, how to navigate and market yourself when you complete your studies and how you will fare in the job market.
