The University of London Review Group looking at the future of ULU (the University of London Union) has made its recommendations which are agreed by the Collegiate Council and likely to be agreed on Wednesday 22 May by the University's trustees. The Students' Union is a democratic and member-led organisation that is legislated to promote the interests of the students of the College.
Birkbeck Students' Union has four core areas of work within its mission: representation, advocacy, activities members' development and advice and guidance. As a student here, you are welcome to join our clubs, societies and any other student groups, get involved in front line representation (academic representation on courses, departments and schools), run or commission campaigns locally, regionally or even nationally that promote the interests of fellow students and of course to be involved in the running of the Birkbeck Students' Union itself by becoming a candidate for election to the Representatives’ Council and its Executive Committee.
