International Migration and Integration (Graduate Certificate) - 2013/2014 entry
-
Overview
International migration and integration occupy an important place in the politics discipline and are the focus of considerable public debate. This programme systematically explores the core issues involved in these debates, both on the level of socio-political theory and through policy-focused case studies.
The programme seeks to relate two bodies of scholarship – one focused particularly on issues of citizenship, multiculturalism and socio-political cohesion within states; the other on international migration as a political process between states. Thus, the programme creates insight into the relations and mutual relevance of international migration and integration.
