- Workshop: FDTL
4/5 Conference ,
Manchester, 24th-25th Feb 2005
- Steve Swithenby (OU) and Chris Glover (SHU)
from the FAST Project started
the session with a provocative presentation on feedback: how we provide it, what
it means to students, and how our practice needs to improve so that students
can make the most of it! The audience considered the
advantages and disadvantages of bespoke written feedback
vs. 'machine generated' feedback, as would be provided
in CBA.
- Richard Rayne (Birkbeck) gave an overview of the OLAAF
project, focusing on its main concerns and key principles
on which the OLAAF approach is predicated. Les Jervis
(Plymouth) then described the evolving application of
CBA targeted to support students in learning to undertake
problem-solving in biochemistry.
- Symposium:
Birkbeck Learning Technology Event, 28th January 2005
- Presentation by Richard Rayne, OLAAF Project Director
