Study that fits around you
At Birkbeck, we're experienced at providing a range of study options that fit around the needs of our students.
Most of our teaching is in the evenings between 6pm and 9pm. We also have some courses available to study in the daytime between 2pm and 5pm:
- as an undergraduate student on some of our courses you can choose your own timetable, opting to study in the daytime or the evening or a mixture of the two.
- as a postgraduate student on a select number of courses you can choose teaching sessions in the evening or in the daytime.
The majority of our courses are available to study full-time or part-time, and, depending on the course, you may also have the option to choose whether to study on campus, online or, for some of our postgraduate courses, through a mixed approach to study which lets you choose between on-campus and online teaching.
