Biography
I am a Lecturer in the Philosophy Department at Birkbeck. I earned my Ph.D. in Philosophy from Princeton University in 2018. Before joining Birkbeck, I held visiting positions at Princeton and Franklin and Marshall College. Most of my research focuses on Nietzsche, especially on issues at the intersection of his aesthetics, epistemology, and value theory. I also have strong interests in the philosophical work of Friedrich Schiller and its impact on German philosophy in the nineteenth century, as well as in Arthur Schopenhauer’s theoretical philosophy and aesthetics.
