UK Student Loans for Ukrainian & Afghan Students Event: A Q&A Session

Student Advice will be hosting an online event for Ukrainian and Afghan students who are applying to study at Birkbeck for an undergraduate or postgraduate degree.
Starting with a 30-minute presentation, Student Advice will detail how Ukrainian and Afghan students, categorised under one of the new government support schemes, will be able to apply for a UK student loan offered by the Student Loans Company. This will cover advice for both the tuition fee & maintenance loan for undergraduates as well as advice on applying for the postgraduate master’s loan.
This is followed by a 30-minute Q&A session where participants will be able to engage directly with Birkbeck’s Student Advice team to discuss the application process and support options provided by Student Finance England.
