When:
Venue: Online

Book your place

In this workshop, we will take a look at what we mean by reading speed and reading comprehension, revisit key strategies for academic reading and then focus on technology to support these strategies. Multisensory learning has been shown to improve concentration and comprehension. This will include ‘text-to-speech’ software, otherwise known as a Read Aloud function.

This online workshop will take place on a link found within the Birkbeck Study Skills Moodle Module.

The resources and recordings will be found after the workshops on the Birkbeck Study Skills Moodle module (student login required) in the Get Ahead, Stay Ahead section.

This workshop will repeat on Monday 6th September and Tuesday 21st September.
