Day Trip to Oxford

This event is open to international students at Birkbeck, University of London only.

Join our tour of the beautiful and historic university town of Oxford.

We’ll look at its stunning architecture and hear stories about its history and the famous people who have lived here. You’ll also learn about the weird and wonderful world of college tortoise racing!

We'll travel together by train from London Marylebone Railway Station.

Ticket at £15 to cover your train fare which is normally £28.30 (cheapest day return). 

Day trip includes:

  • Return group travel by train from London Marylebone Railway Station to Oxford Railway Station
  • Private tour guide
  • You will have plenty of free time to explore the city during your visit

 

Important information: 

  • Departure Point: London Marylebone Railway Station 
  • Meeting time: 8:15 am on Friday 30 July 
  • Tour finish time: approx. 5 pm at Oxford Railway Station
  • Please bring a face-covering unless you're exempt
  • Do not attend if you have symptoms of Covid or if you've been in contact with anyone with symptoms  
  • Please arrive on time as we cannot wait for latecomers
  • Booking is limited to one per student. Multiple/extra bookings will be voided.
  • Tickets are non-refundable  / non-exchangeable.
  • By registering for this event, you are agreeing to follow the tour leader(s) instructions.
