A literature review is the spine of a dissertation, which provides the basis and strength for arguments and hypothesis. This workshop will focus on key aspects of the literature review. It will cover the primary principles of literature reviews, including: 

  • What is the purpose of a literature review?
  • Where does the literature review go in a dissertation?
  • How to process information to facilitate writing.
  • How to structure and write a literature review.

This workshop is suitable for those who will be or addressing a dissertation at the undergraduate or postgraduate level.

Please Note: these workshops are intended for enrolled Birkbeck students only. Student login details are required for online access.
