So once you have a draft of an assignment together, how can you begin to edit and proofread this to ensure you are representing your hard work in the best way possible? This workshop will:

  • Identify tools that are freely or cheaply available on your personal computer or mobile device to support the editing and proofreading stages of your assignments
  • Show you strategies using apps and software to more easily identify writing issues such as clarity and sense

The suggested strategies will focus on some tools that are freely available on most computers and mobile devices, as well as offering some suggestions for low-cost apps. There are also options for students who would find it helpful to invest in more advanced software.
