Birkbeck Arts Weeks are a 3-week long festival of remote and free events.
This year there are a number of events on medieval and Renaissance topics:
A Medieval Thing a Day - each day from 3rd-7th May - PhD students present a mini podcast on a single medieval object from their research.
Woven Encounters: Orientalism and Fabrics from Medieval to Modern Popular Fiction. A live conversation.
Jews, the Reformation and the Making of Europe.
Circles of Hell. A live-streamed performance, inspired by Salvador Dali's paintings of Dante's Inferno.
All events are free, but you may need to book a place.
