Participation and Community Engagement

• Credit value: 30 credits at Level 5
• Assessment: a 1500-word/15-20-minute presentation (30%) and a 3500-word written case-study (70%)

This module explores theories and practice of participatory approaches and the socio-economic inequalities facing marginalised population groups. You will explore different methods of, and approaches to, community engagement and involvement, which will increase your understanding of the potential and challenges of implementing participatory approaches in given contexts.

By the end of this module, you will have:
