Module description

This module will equip you with key linguistic concepts, terms and tools necessary for describing language for pedagogical purposes. It will provide you with an overview of the systems of phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics and discourse, and help you develop skills in linguistic description for language teaching.

  • apply the acquired knowledge to the analysis and evaluation of teaching materials for language teaching.
