Module description
This module provides you with an overview of current issues in second/foreign language teaching, particularly with reference to the teaching of English to speakers of other languages (TESOL). You will develop a critical understanding of key theoretical, methodological and practical issues in language teaching, and assess their relevance for language pedagogy in their own contexts.
This module is a core module for the MA Language Teaching and TESOL programme; however, if you are on a different programme, you are able to take this as an option module if you have professional experience in language teaching.
