Development, Aid and Power

• Assessment: a 3000-word critical literature review (30%) and a 5000-word essay (70%)

In this module, we will explore a number of development themes to critically analyse how core development concepts and theories shape development policy and practice in particular contexts. We will investigate the changing role of institutions and organisations in the development process and demonstrate the expanding scope of the development sector.
