Module description
The research project is the most important, challenging and the most exciting part of your MSc. It is an individual piece of work that allows students to develop their own interests and demonstrate both academic skills and more general skills of project management and critical thinking.
The research project is typically a quantitative and/or qualitative study, designed to clarify, test or illuminate a particular theory, model or technique. Some projects also use mixed methods. Many different variations are possible, however. For instance, research projects involving experimental methodology, surveys, case studies, action research, evaluation research, and discourse analysis are all acceptable.
