Module description

This module will give you the opportunity to develop your skills as a writer of radio drama. You will learn about the demands, form and elements of the radio playwright's craft, and have the opportunity to interact regularly with fellow playwrights and radio drama professionals, while developing skills in editing and revising your own writing. You will also develop an awareness of industry-standard expectations for the presentation of work for radio and an understanding of the histories, conventions and theatrical dynamics essential for the writing of drama.

Learning objectives

By the end of this module, you will be able to:

  • discuss and evaluate the work of fellow students and established writers in relation to elements of craft
