Module description

This series of activities gives you a comprehensive grounding in the practices and conventions that govern the writing and performance industries. You will hear from prominent literary agents, editors from major publishing houses, literary managers from top London theatres, as well as leading television and film producers, theatre makers and conceptual writers.

Events will feature panel discussions and plenary workshop sessions which provide an outline of the workings of the contemporary writing industries, affording you valuable insights into how to get your work from the page to print, the stage, and/or the screen.

Panels and workshops will cover topics such as:

  • The Role of the Literary Agent
  • Producing and Publishing Your Own Work
  • From the Page to the Stage and Screen
  • The Role of the Editor.
