Birkbeck Institute for Lifelong Learning (BILL) promotes new ways of researching lifelong learning which bridge academic, policy and community contexts, with a particular focus on pedagogies of lifelong learning. Lifelong learning is broadly defined as all forms of learning (formal, informal and non-formal) throughout the lifespan.
