Urgent Lobby of Birkbeck Governors Meeting

This Wednesday, the Birkbeck Governing Body will be presented with a proposal to increase pay for its cleaning and catering staff to £6.50/hr, a rise of 73p from the national minimum wage of £5.73.

The Birkbeck trade unions feel that this figure is still grossly insufficient for living in London.
