Unwanted Office Furniture etc

We often see apparently serviceable office furniture, piles of box files etc dumped in the rubbish area between the Main Building and ULU. It does seem somewhat wasteful to just junk these items but they have to go. This begs the question, how do we let others within the College know who might be able to make use of it?

College Green does not yet have a page for this but meanwhile you could post details of what you want to dispose of on the Staff Message Board Do try to give a few days notice of when your items need to be taken away.

If no-one in the College wants your furniture, try freecycle. Freecycle groups match people who have things they want to get rid of with people who can use them. Their goal is to keep usable items out of landfills.
