Birkbeck Waste Management and Recycling Plan
Introduction
Birkbeck, University of London recognises that it can contribute towards the conservation and protection of the natural environment by adopting policies on the management and recycling of waste products arising from its activities. This document describes the waste management and recycling plan and forms part of Birkbeck’s overall Sustainability Policy.
Anne Mc Keown has overall responsibility for the implementation of the Waste Management plan and will be supported by the Environmental Management Committee.
Training and guidance on achieving these targets will be provided as necessary and information on waste disposal will be profiled on the College Green.
