EAUC is a body composed of member institutions and funded by subscriptions from it's members. Birkbeck is a paid-up member. EAUC has full time officers based at Gloucester University who arrange courses on environmental issues, publish best practice guidance etc. It publishes a regular hard-copy magazine - EARTH - also available on-line. EAUC also publishes a weekly e-bulletin by e-mail attachment and hosts an e-mail exchange forum on sustainability issues. Anyone from a member institution can arrange to receive the e-mail information or join the discussion forum. If you wish to do so contact Tom McCartney for details but beware - there can be a lot of e-mail traffic from time-to-time and most are on highly specialised topics.
