Accounting and Management (BA) (Full-time evening study) - 2013/2014 entry
Looking to develop a career in accounting? Or working closely with the accounting profession? Or want to find out how accounting can improve managerial decision-making? This joint degree provides high-level training and knowledge in accounting and its role in management in both the public and private sectors. It attracts a wide range of people, including administrators, clerical workers and managers, and self-employed people. You will develop a broad understanding of accounting and management, gaining detailed knowledge of accounting practices, finance, strategic management, marketing, managerial economics and quantitative techniques. Exemptions from accountancy bodies’ professional examinations are possible.
This course is also available for part-time study.

Who will this programme particularly appeal to?
This programme attracts students from both the public and private sectors, including administrators, clerical workers and managers, as well as the self-employed. Because it is taught entirely by evening study, students are able to combine academic studies with daytime commitments.
With the majority of our students working or caring for a family full-time, you will be learning with people from a wide range of backgrounds and with a wide range of experiences. This creates a stimulating and supportive learning environment. Our tutorial/seminar sessions give you a chance to interact with your peers and develop insights into analysing and interpreting a wide and varied subject matter.
