Business Psychology (BSc) - 2012/2013 entry
Psychology provides insights that help us to understand the behaviour of people in business and organisational contexts. This course uses this knowledge of the human mind and our behaviour as a basis to investigate fundamental organisational functions, such as human resource management, finance, marketing, strategy, human resources and technology. Learn how psychological theories and research can be applied successfully to: recruit, select and assess employees; change organisations; train and motivate people; and develop individuals’ careers. This BSc, run by Europe’s oldest department of organizational psychology, is recommended by the Association of Business Psychologists.

- In all cases, good literacy and numeracy are required, as measured by a grade C or above in GCSE English and Mathematics.
- These skills may also be assessed through an admissions procedure, involving English and mathematics tests to be taken at a selection evening. There is no 'pass' mark for the tests; they assess basic arithmetic and English language skills and are used purely to assess the level you are at and to ensure that you are offered a place on the most appropriate degree programme.
