Accounting (BSc) (Part-time) - 2012/2013 entry
Accounting demands a range of transferable skills, including quantitative, analytical and decision-making skills, and perceptive abilities. You will develop a good understanding of accounting and the environment in which it operates, and the ability to apply a wide range of accounting skills and competencies – from preparing financial statements to interpreting complex material and relating theory to practice. What’s more, you will learn supervisory and management skills that will give you the confidence to take on more challenges in the workplace.
This course is also available for full-time evening study.

Who will this course particularly appeal to?
The BSc Accounting attracts students from both the public and private sectors, including administrators, clerical workers and managers, as well as the self-employed. Because it is taught entirely by evening study, you are able to combine academic studies with daytime commitments.
With the majority of our students working or caring for a family full-time, you will be learning with people from a wide range of backgrounds and with a wide range of experiences. This creates a stimulating and supportive learning environment. Our tutorial/seminar sessions give you a chance to interact with your peers and develop insights into analysing and interpreting a wide and varied subject matter.
